Talk about rockets’ red glare; three songs performed during televised celebrations of President Joe Biden’s inauguration make their way up the Shazam USA Top 100 this week.
Ant Clemons & Justin Timberlake f/Kirk Franklin’s “Better Days” (A. Blessing/Human Re Sources) is not only the week’s biggest mover; it’s the most-Shazamed song. Foo Fighters’ “Times Like These” (Roswell/RCA) is the week’s second-biggest mover. Both were standouts of the primetime Celebrating America. DJ Snake’s “Taki Taki” (Interscope) lands on the list after a performance during the daytime parade.
Lorde’s 2017 song “Liability” (Republic) lands on the biggest-movers list after a synch in HBO’s Euphoria.
And a nearly 10-year-old song from X Factor runner-up Rebecca Ferguson, “Nothing’s Real But Love,” tops the greatest-gainers list in the U.K. after its appearance on Dancing on Ice.
