John Janick’s Interscope Geffen A&M had the best year in its three-decade history, winning the annual marketshare competition going away with a 10.2% slice of the pie, 1.2% over the company’s 2019 finish.

IGA was one of three UMG labels in the top four, as Sir Lucian Grainge remained the king of the hill, controlling a hefty 38.5% slab of the market.
