iHEART UPS FASBENDER

iHeartMedia announced that Jordan Fasbender, the company's Deputy General Counsel, has been named EVP, General Counsel and Secretary. She will report to Bob Pittman, Chairman and CEO, and Rich Bressler, President, COO and CFO.

Fasbender will succeed Paul McNicol, who intends to retire at the end of 2021 and provide counsel to senior management during the transition. In her new role she will oversee all legal functions for iHeartMedia's divisions and multiplatform assets, continue to oversee the company's government, compliance and regulatory affairs and governance functions and be responsible for operations and transactions, securities, intellectual property, litigation and privacy.

Before joining iHeart in July 2019, Fasbender served as SVP and Associate General Counsel at Twenty-First Century Fox, where she provided direction and strategic counsel as well as serving as a lead team member during Disney's acquisition of the company and the ensuing spinoff.

“I am proud to take on this new role at iHeart as the company continues to lead the audio space in a variety of new and innovative ways,” said Fasbender. Pittman added, “Jordan is a proven and effective leader whose extensive legal, corporate-governance and media- and entertainment-industry expertise makes her the perfect person to succeed Paul McNicol as our General Counsel."
