CARTI CRASHES CHRISTMAS

Alt-rap hero Playboi Carti has confirmed that his highly anticipated album Whole Lotta Red will arrive on Christmas Day via AWGE/Interscope.

Speculation about the arrival of Carti's third studio album has become a meme among fans, who've made "WLR" trend week after week throughout 2020 in anticipation of a possible surprise release. 

Carti dropped a single in April, "@MEH," which topped Apple Music and debuted at #5 on Spotify U.S. His collab with Drake on Dark Lane Demo Tapes, "pain 1993," debuted at #1 on Spotify with nearly 3m streams and at #7 on the Hot 100. 

Carti's sophomore album, Die Lit, debuted at #3 with 61k back in May 2018.
