GRAMMY HALL OF FAME ADDS 29

The Grammy Hall Of Fame will add 29 new titles in the class of 2021, including albums and singles from A Tribe Called Quest, Bruce Springsteen, Irma Thomas and others. "We Are The World" and "Y.M.C.A." are on the list.

Recording Academy Chair and Interim President/CEO Harvey Mason Jr. said, "Each recording has had a significant impact on our culture, and it is an honor to add them to our distinguished catalog."

To be eligible a recording needs to be at least 25 years old. Pearl Jam’s Ten and ATCQ’s The Low End Theory are the most recent records on the list—both are from 1991—while the oldest are 1924’s "Wreck Of The Old 97" by Vernon Dalhart and Kansas Joe and Memphis Minnie’s 1929 rendition of "When the Levee Breaks."
