DYLAN '70 REVISITED

Recordings from Bob Dylan’s much-discussed 1970 sessions with George Harrison, David Bromberg and others will receive a commercial release on 2/26 from Columbia Records and Legacy Recordings.

The recordings on the three-CD Bob Dylan–1970 were first released in a limited edition on 12/4 as part of the Dylan 50th Anniversary Collection copyright-extension series that began in 2012.

Bob Dylan–1970 includes previously unreleased outtakes from the sessions that produced Self Portrait and New Morning, as well as complete versions of the nine tracks Harrison and Dylan recorded on 5/1/70—among them "One Too Many Mornings," "Gates of Eden" and "Mama, You Been on My Mind," the Everly Brothers hit "All I Have to Do Is Dream" and Carl Perkins' "Matchbox."

The recordings, from March, May, June and August 1970, feature backing from Bromberg, Al Kooper, Charlie Daniels, Russ Kunkel and others.
