THE PHOEBE CHRONICLES

Multiple Grammy nominee Phoebe Bridgers has had a pretty full dance card of late, performing on TV from some storied venues. On 12/15 she performed “Kyoto” on Corden, moving from her bedroom to the stage of Carnegie Hall and never changing out of her jammies. This followed her rendition of “Savior Complex” from L.A.’s famed Magic Castle on Fallon. The video for the latter song, directed by Fleabag’s Phoebe Waller-Bridge, dropped last week on the heels of Bridgers' Christmas cover of Merle Haggard’s “If We Make it Through December,” with proceeds going to the L.A. Downtown Women’s Center. Her other recent charitable venture, a cover of the Goo Goo Dolls’ “Iris” with Maggie Rogers, has already raised $173k for Fair Fight (Stacey Abrams' org in Georgia). Phoebe is also featured on Kid Cudi’s chart-topping new album, Man on the Moon III: The Chosen. Her own album Punisher (Dead Oceans) appears on 70+ “Best Of” year-end lists, including SIRIUSXM’s “Class of 2020."

As for us, well, we're still in our jammies.
