evermore, Taylor Swift’s second album in five months, will debut at #1, as her midsummer release, folklore, surges to #3. evermore’s first week will be the biggest opening for an album since rule changes eliminated forced bundles. Kid Cudi, meanwhile, scores his best debut since 2010’s Man on the Moon II, which opened with 169k. The upshot: Republic will have the Top 3 albums this week, as well as five of the Top 10.
