VEVO REVIEWS 2020

Vevo has released an array of stats for 2020, including a 30% spike in global viewership via connected television vs. 2019. J Balvin was the most-watched artist, Future f/Drake’s “Life Is Good” was the top video and “Georgia on My Mind” enjoyed a hearty Election Day boost.

In a year that saw Vevo record weekend daily highs of 1b global views, the service registered significant increases around major 2020 events such as Brexit negotiations, COVID-19 shutdowns and social-justice protests.

“Music was a unifier,” Vevo CEO Alan Price said. “There's no doubt that it's a key part of our lives.

"On the business front, we saw our audience grow as people watched more music videos than ever before. In part, that's due to our expansion into the living room, which brought new levels of engagement across our platform. These year-end trends exemplify the power and depth of our catalog and show how, at scale, we deliver culturally relevant content that reveals true creativity.”
