FLIPOVER FRIDAY: NEW ARRIVALS AT iTUNES AND APPLE MUSIC

Republic is throwing a solid one-two punch across iTunes and Apple Music this Flipover Friday, with Taylor Swift and Kid Cudi dominating both charts.

Swift’s surprise release evermore is #1 at iTunes—the clean version is #3—and #2 at Apple Music, while her single, “Willow,” tops the iTunes songs chart. The new drop has revived interest in its older sister; folklore is back into the Top 10 at  iTunes and the Top 20 at Apple Music.

Cudi’s Man on the Moon III: The Chosen is #1 at Apple Music and #2 at iTunes. On the songs side at Apple Music, his “Tequila Shots” is #9, followed by “Beautiful Trip” at #11.

Back at iTunes albums, Sturgill Simpson’s second lockdown bluegrass album, Cuttin’ Grass Vol. 2. (Cowboy Arms Sessions) (High Top Mountain/Thirty Tigers) plows into #4; the 20th-anniversary expanded edition of DeftonesWhite Pony (Reprise) saddles up at #5; and Jack Harlow’s apostrophe-free Thats What They All Say (Generation Now/Atlantic) parks at #7 at iTunes and #6 at Apple Music.

At iTunes songs, Britney Spears & Backstreet Boys’ “Matches” (RCA) lights up at #4. Anti-Trump politician John Anthony Castro grabs #7 with his rendition of The Beatles’ “Let it Be (Revolution),” and Billie Eilish’s “Therefore I Am” (Darkroom/Interscope) comes in at #10. Troye Sivan & Kacey Musgraves f/Mark Ronson’s “Easy” (Capitol), meanwhile, sits at #11.
