Manager and bon vivant Bruce Kalmick is busting out the premium bourbon to cheer the launch of his new company, WHY&HOW. The music and management outfit promises ventures that variously blend entertainment, digital, branding and spirits. The latter tends toward cask strength, so we’ll take those keys now.
The W&H roster includes KALEO, Belle Mt., BRELAND, Chase Rice, SRPN (Samantha Ronson & Pete Nappi), Whiskey Myers and more. Three managers with whom Kalmick worked at Triple 8 are joining him at the new firm: Kelly Kresen, Rachel Cave and Eddie Kloesel. The company has also onboarded a number of other Triple alumni and a handful of new hires, which is music to our ears in these challenging times.
Look for more big announcements from WHY&HOW in coming weeks and months. In the meantime, Bruce, our glass is looking kinda empty.
