PLATINUM IN 2020

Led by Lil Baby, Pop Smoke, The Weeknd and Taylor Swift, 25 albums will have crossed the 1m threshold in 2020, seven more than in 2019.

The aforementioned quartet will each have gotten to 2m by year's end, with Lil Baby's My Turn headed past 2.5m. 1m of Swift's folklore take is pure sales. 

2019's Top 4 albums (by Post Malone, Billie Eilish, Swift and Ariana Grande) reached 2m as well. Malone's Hollywood's Bleeding scored 3m in total activity.
