IT'S GOOD TO BE BAD

By Michael Dominguez

Bad Bunny has become the biggest artist in the world, as Spotify deems him its most-streamed act and his El Último Tour Del Mundo makes history as the first-ever Spanish-language album to debut at #1 in the U.S.

Three albums in, the prolific Puerto Rican is more than just a hitmaker; it can be argued that his cultural presence is more important than that of any other artist.

The numbers don't lie. When El Último dropped on Friday (11/27), lead single "Dakiti" crossed 10m streams on Spotify—the most for a current single since Ed Sheeran & Justin Bieber debuted "I Don't Care" in May 2019. It was the biggest day for a song in 2020 on Spotify. Friday also saw Bad Bunny log more than 100m streams in a single day on the platform. The only other artists to reach that milestone are XXXtentacion (just after his death) and Drake, on Scorpion's release day.

El Último was exec-produced by Primary Wave-repped MAG, who produced and co-write nine of its cuts, including single "Yo Visto Así."

If you give a shit about music, you'll get over the language barrier and check out El Último Tour Del Mundo, Bad Bunny's most rockin' effort yet.
