Six-time Grammy nominee Taylor Swift has revealed that a new original film, folklore: the long pond studio sessions, will hit Disney+ on 11/25 at midnight.
Swift shared the trailer below on her socials. The Long Pond studio sessions were filmed in a cabin/studio in the Hudson Valley, with Swift and collaborators Aaron Dessner, Jack Antonoff and Justin Vernon performing intimate renditions of songs from Album of the Year nominee folklore (Republic).
Between performances, Swift discusses the extraordinary process of recording and writing this album, which was created in isolation as the creators quarantined in the middle of the Covid-19 pandemic. The Long Pond Studio retreat marked the first time Swift, Dessner and Antonoff met face-to-face after creating folklore.
Well it’s 11/24 and 24-11=13 so I’ve got an announcement 🤓 You haven’t seen this film before ✨ folklore: the long pond studio sessions will be out tonight at midnight PST on @DisneyPlus! #folkloreOnDisneyPlus pic.twitter.com/BTWSRM0yaI
