FLIPOVER FRIDAY: NEW ARRIVALS AT iTUNES AND APPLE MUSIC

Chris Stapleton and Billie Eilish top the iTunes charts this Flipover Friday, as a collaboration between Future and Lil Uzi Vert is going strong in sales and streams.

Starting Over (Mercury Nashville), Stapleton’s first full-length since 2017 (when he released two albums), takes the #1 slot two days after wowing the CMAs with a performance of the title track. Over at iTunes songs, Eilish’s “Therefore I am” (Darkroom/Interscope) leaps over nearly a dozen country songs boosted by the CMAs to take the top spot.

Back at albums, where the Top 10 is all new arrivals, AC/DC’s first album in six years, Power Up (Columbia), charges into the #2 berth.

Pentatonix’s We Need a Little Christmas (RCA) streams the garland at #3, while the deluxe edition of Andrea Bocelli’s Believe (Decca/Sugar) settles in at #4.

Scoring in the Top 5 on both iTunes and Apple Music is Future & Lil Uzi Vert’s Pluto x Baby Pluto (Atlantic/Epic); it’s #5 at iTunes and #2 at Apple Music, sitting behind Kodak Black’s Bill Israel (Atlantic).

Davido’s third studio album, A Better Time (RCA), is the only other album in the Top 10 on both charts, #8 in sales and #9 in streams.

Returning to iTunes, Aesop Rock’s Spirit World Field Guide (Rhymesayers) is #6, Sean Feucht’s self-released Let Us Worship—Washington, D.C. bows at #7 and Josh Abbot Band’s The Highway Kind (Pretty Damn Tough) is #9. At #10 is 2 Chainz’s So Help Me God! (Gamebread/Def Jam), which sits at #13 at Apple Music.
