AUDIOMACK x THEBASEMENT HOST VOTING-AWARENESS EVENT

Creative agency TheBasement has partnered with Audiomack to present a voting-awareness concert, From TheBasement to the Ballot, headlined by G Herbo, Kaash Paige, Kalan.Frfr, Ambré and Peter $un.

Originally streamed live on Twitch, the concert is now available to watch in its entirety on YouTube.

From TheBasement to the Ballot, hosted by actress and comedian Watch Jazzy, focuses on educating Gen-Z and first-time voters. The program features a "teen summit"- style roundtable with the artists, TV/film producer Anthony Rose, AHF Stand Against Hate representatives Lauren Hogan and Theresa Gio and Yes on Prop 21 activist Rene Moya centered on how younger voters feel about the election and current political climate

"We pride ourselves on helping artists create moments that move their music forward. But in this current climate, it’s all about moving the vote forward," said Jason Johnson, Audiomack’s VP of Marketing & Brand Strategy. "We’re excited to partner with TheBasement Series ["an experience for creatives to network, vibe & discover the next wave of your new favorite artists"] on this initiative to help bring more awareness to this year’s Presidential Election and ensure that younger voters have the resources they need to make their voices heard."

TheBasement Series founder Ericka Coulter added, "To first create a platform that highlights emerging artists and now to produce a show that encourages artists and creatives to vote and take a stand—the feeling is indescribable!"
