Contrary to the hype that Adele would emphasize her comedy chops over her vocal prowess on Saturday Night Live, the singer rolled out some of her greatest hits during a reality show spoof.
Appearing as a contestant on The Bachelor, Adele felt compelled to musically address the proceedings, singing parts of “Someone Like You, “Hello” and “Set Fire to the Rain” during the dating competition. Hey, snippets of that magnificent voice are better than nothing, right?
Adele's 2011 album 21 (XL/Columbia) was #12 Monday morning with 25 sitting at #21 and #19 at #42.
Musical-guest duties fell to RCA's H.E.R., whose first song, "Damage," subsequently flew into the Top 5 at iTunes. Her encore segment, "Hold On," saw her hoisting her guitar, thereafter earning a Top 10 berth on iTunes.
