CAROLINE CORRALS ANSON SEABRA

Anson Seabra, whose latest indie EP can claim more than 250m global streams, has signed with Caroline. He will release new music in early 2021.

The Caroline team will work closely with Seabra’s manager, Alex Bender, president of Revere Music Group. The partnership includes distribution through Caroline as well as label services, including marketing and promotion.

“Anson Seabra is the next generation of independent artist who has direct engagement with fans on multiple platforms,” said Caroline president Jacqueline Saturn, who credits AstralwerksSergio Vega with bringing the two sides together. “He is brilliantly creative, massively ambitious and is ready to take the time to break territory by territory around the globe. Anson's passion and dedication have inspired us all.”

Bender previously operated as Seabra’s label, releasing Songs I Wrote in My Bedroom earlier this year and taking his Spotify streams to 1m daily from 50,000 in less than a year.

“As Anson’s platform grew, our goal was to partner with people who really understood our approach and could help elevate the business we were building,” said Bender.

Seabra’s success led to meetings with multiple labels and distribution companies, and the offers started to flow.

After meeting with Caroline, Seabra said, “It felt like they understood me and like more than a business transaction; it felt like we had found people who were deeply excited about sharing my ideas as widely as possible and had the world-class infrastructure and team to do so.”
