U.K. CHARTS: #1 FOR HEADIE ONE

Headie One’s Edna (Relentless) is the most-streamed album of the week with 25.5m track streams. Headie One also dominates this week’s Official Singles Chart, with three of the record’s songs in the Top 40: “Ain’t It Different” is #2, “Princess Cuts” takes #11 and “Parlez-Vous Anglais” sits at #24.
D-Block Europe’s self-released The Blue Print–Us Vs Them is new at #2. The entry cements a hugely successful 2020 for the London duo, which also includes seven Top 40 singles this year. Completing an all-new Top 3 this week is the John Lennon compilation Gimme Some Truth (Apple Corps).
Elsewhere in this week’s Top 10, Travis are new at #5 with Ten Songs (BMG) and Dire Straits discography collection, The Studio Albums 1978-1991 (UMC), enters at #9.
On the U.K.’s Official Singles Chart, “Mood” finished the week 8,200 ahead of its closest competitor, “Ain’t It Different” by Headie One f/AJ Tracey and Stormzy.
This week’s Top 10 features more new peaks: Tate McRae lands her first Top 5 single as “You Broke Me First” (Ministry of Sound) climbs two places to #5, Miley Cyrus’ “Midnight Sky” (RCA) climbs two to #6, and Pop Smoke’s “What You Know Bout Love” (Polydor) also ascends two to #7.
