Justin Bieber has followed the 9/18 release of “Holy” with “Lonely,” a collaboration with Benny Blanco released 10/16 via Friends Keep Secrets/Def Jam/Interscope.
Blanco and FINNEAS produced the ballad. The video, directed by Jake Schreier, appears below.
“Benny and FINNEAS are both extraordinary writers, and it’s been amazing collaborating with them,” Bieber says. “To be honest, the finished song is tough for me to listen to, considering how hard it was to get through some of those chapters. Hopefully telling this story will encourage others to vocalize what they are going through.”
“Holy” was streamed more than 120m times in its debut week and broke Bieber's single-day career best for YouTube views.
