A TikTok hit, an Allstate ad and Starz’s Power Book II: Ghost gets thumb Shazam users thumbs a-wagging as does the new Travis Scott single.
Scott’s latest Cactus Jack/Epic release, ”Franchise,” is the biggest mover on this week’s Shazam USA Top 100.
Meanwhile, Fleetwood Mac’s 1977 single “Dreams” (Warner) attracts thumbs after providing the soundtrack to a TikTok video posted by a man who goes by dogface208 and is seen skating down a freeway while drinking cranberry juice and singing along with Stevie Nicks.
Just below the Mac is another oldie—Edith Piaf’s 1960 French hit “Non, Je Ne Regrette Rien” that appears in an Allstate ad. Power Book II: Ghost pushes Masego & FKJ’s “Tadow” (EQT) from 2017 and NoLuv Nevo’s new sef-released “Chase It” onto the list.
New tracks from Royal Blood and Bonobo and Totally Enormous Extinct Dinosaurs are the biggest movers in the U.K.
