UMLE's J Balvin leads the Latin Grammy Awards with a record-setting 13 nominations, the most ever for an artist in the history of the ceremony. Among the categories he's in: Album of the Year (2), Record of the Year (2), Urban Fusion Performance, Reggaeton Performance (2), Urban Music Album (2) and Urban Song. His solo album, COLORES and collaboration album with Bad Bunny, Oasis, are competing against each other in multiple categories.
Sony's Ozuna follows with eight nominations, including his participation in ROTY, Best Urban Music Album and multiple nods Best Urban Fusion Performance, Best Reggaeton Performance and Best Urban Song.
Bad Bunny is nominated a handful of categories—also competing against himself multiple times—chief among them are Album of the Year for his solo album YHLQMDLG, along with Oasis, and Record of the Year for "Vete."
Columbia's ROSALÍA received four nominations. She's in Best Urban Fusion Performance, Best Urban Song, Best Pop/Rock Song and Best Short Form Music Video.
Karol G also notched four noms, including Record and Song of the Year for "Tusa" f/Nicki Minaj.
Sony Latin's Anuel AA received multiple noms in the Urban categories, along with nominations in ROTY and Best New Artist.
