The Recording Academy has partnered with Color of Change to host a virtual, industry-wide Diversity, Inclusion and Equity summit, "Change Music." The panel will take place on Thursday, 10/1 at 12pm PT. More panelists are expected to be added over the next week.
The conversation between key biz leaders will tackle the best practices and strategic ways to drive long-term, systemic transformation within the music community. The group will discuss progress made toward closing critical diversity, equity and inclusion gaps at the Academy and within the industry, and its response to #TheShowMustBePaused demands—emphasizing the organization's commitment to accelerating progress for Black music.
