MICKEY GUYTON'S POWERFUL TODAY PERFORMANCE

Capitol Nashville’s Mickey Guyton recently took the stage to perform her powerful single, “Black Like Me,” as part of NBC’s TODAY with Hoda & Jenna.

The country truth-teller released the timely “Black Like Me” earlier this year and it appears on her new EP, Bridges, alongside singles “Heaven Down Here” and “What Are You Gonna Tell Her?,” which she performed at the 55th Academy of Country Music Awards with Keith Urban last week. The performance marked history as Guyton became the first Black woman to perform solo at the ACMs.
