FLIPOVER FRIDAY: NEW ARRIVALS AT iTUNES AND APPLE MUSIC

Alicia Keys’ coronavirus-delayed seventh album, Keith Urban’s heavily promoted latest full-length and Yusuf/Cat Stevens’ re-interpretation of his 1970 classic take the top slots at iTunes this flipover Friday.

Keys’ ALICIA (RCA), originally scheduled for a March release, shoots straight to #1. Urban’s The Speed of Now Part 1 (Capitol Nashville) hits #2 on the heels of the Aussie hosting the ACM Awards; Ava Max’s Heaven & Hell (Atlantic/APG) takes #3; and Yusuf’s Tea for the Tillerman2 (UMe) enters the wild world at #4.

With rookies occupying the Top 14 slots at iTunes albums, we have Fit For a King’s The Path (Solid State) walking in at #5, Tyler ChildersLong Violent History (Hickman Holler/RCA) occupying #6, and 10 Years Violent Allies (Mascot) pulling in at #7. Moonshine BanditsFire (MSB) brews up #8, Ace Frehley’s Origins, Vol. 2 (eOne) gives #9 a kiss, and the late Broadway star Nick Cordero is #10 with Live Your Life (Live at Feinstein’s 54 Below) (Broadway).

Just outside the Top 10 are new titles from MAX, Julie and the Phantoms, Bright Light Bright Light, Knuckle Puck, Semisonic and Koryn Hawthorne.

At iTunes songs, Urban & P!nk’s Wednesday release “One Too Many” is #1 followed by the new Justin Bieber single, “Holy” f/Chance the Rapper (Def Jam), at #3.

Machine Gun Kelly’s Tickets to My Downfall (Bad Boy/Interscope) has crept into the Apple Music Top 50 with just three of its tracks released.
