FUNDRAISING IN DISCO STYLE

Gabrielle's Angel Foundation recently held a Studio 54-themed Virtual Disco Party fundraiser. Presented by Gabrielle's Angel Foundation Founder, Denise Rich, as well as her daughters, Daniella Rich Kilstock and Ilona Rich Schachter, the star-studded event raised over $1m to fund life-saving cancer research.

With performances from Patti LaBelle, Chaka Khan, Gloria Gaynor, Nile Rodgers and Kathy Sledge, as well as DJ Cassdy and DJ Kyle Kxtz, guests like Olivia Newton-John and Clive Davis partied in their living rooms while sharing favorite memories of the iconic Studio 54.

The event also featured special appearances by Marti Gould Cummings, Star Jones, Pat Cleveland, Ethan Zohn, and SiriusXM "Studio 54" hosts Mark Benecke and Myra Scheer.

All proceeds raised during the Virtual Disco Party went toward funding the next group of Medical Research Awards, which include $225k grants distributed over a 3-year period to early-career scientists focusing on blood cancer research.

To date, Gabrielle’s Angel Foundation has contributed $37m to cancer research and funded nearly 300 projects. For more info, click here.
