Amazon Music enters the podcasting space today, banking on attracting listeners through its Prime subscription service and Echo speakers.
Amazon Music is starting with 70,000 podcasts, land aunching with popular ones such as Crime Junkie, What A Day and Radiolab. Podcasts will be available free on subscription and ad-supported tiers.
Amazon will become the exclusive home of Disgraceland next year and will be the home for exclusive shows from DJ Khaled, Becky G, Will Smith and Dan Patrick.
