The Rolling Stones are #2 at the midweek stage with the expanded edition of 1973’s Goats Head Soup (Polydor). Hurts are heading for their first Top 10 album in seven years with Faith (Lento) starting at #5, followed by Billy Ocean’s One World (Sony) at #6.
Versions of the Truth (Snapper Music) from prog rockers The Pineapple Thief are #14, while 6ix9ine’s TattleTales (Create Music Group) enters at #23. At #25, Big Sean’s Detroit 2 (UMG) is the most-streamed new release of the week.
On the U.K.’s Official Singles midweeks, Cardi B and Megan Thee Stallion are on course for a second week at the top with “WAP.”
“Lighter” by Nathan Dawe f/KSI (Atlantic) could reach a new peak position Friday, currently up one place to #2. “Mood” by 24kgoldn f/Iann Dior (Black Butter) is also up one place to #3.
Three songs are on track to hit the U.K. Top 10 for the first time: Paul Woolford and Diplo’s collaboration featuring Kareen Lomax, “Looking For Me” (Ministry of Sound), is up five places to #7; Jason Derulo’s “Take You Dancing” (Atlantic) is up seven to #8; and Miley Cyrus’ “Midnight Sky” (RCA) is also up seven to #10.
