6ix9ine and Big Sean are jockeying for the top slots at Apple Music and iTunes this flipover Friday. As the sun rises on the West Coast, Big Sean’s Detroit 2 (GOOD/Def Jam) is tops in streaming and 6ix9ine’s TattleTales (Create Music Group) is #1 in sales.
TattleTales is #2 at Apple Music while Detroit 2 motors in at #3 at iTunes behind the first full-length from Big Loud country songwriter Hardy, A Rock.
The rest of the iTunes Top 10 is all new arrivals. Lauren Alaina’s second EP released this year, Getting Over Him (19/Mercury Nashville), is #4; Stryper’s 13th album, Even the Devil Believes (Frontiers), is #5.
The Rolling Stones’ dip into the vaults, Goat’s Head Soup (2020 Deluxe) (Polydor/Interscope/UMe) with 25 bonus tracks, is #6.
K-Pop singer Wonho is #7 with Love Synonym #1: Right for Me (Highline). Sara Bareilles’ versions of the songs she wrote for Apple TV+’s series Little Voice, More Love: Songs From Little Voice Season One (Epic), chimes in at #8. Fame on Fire’s Levels (Hopeless) is #9.
The House That Bradley Built (LAW), a compilation of acts covering Sublime acoustically, is #10. Proceeds from the 24-track set are going toward the building of a rehab center in Southern California named after Sublime founder Bradley Nowell.
Back at Apple Music, two new albums from Warner Latina’s Junior H sit just outside the Top 10: Musica<3 is #11 and Cruisin’ With Junior H is #12.
