CMA NOMINATIONS UNVEILED

The nominees for the CMA Awards were announced this morning during a Good Morning America segment/livestream event. Miranda Lambert is nominated in seven categories to lead the way while Luke Combs is nominated in five and Maren Morris has five noms in four categories. She's up twice for Musical Event of the Year.

Lambert becomes the first female artist to accumulate a record-breaking 55 CMA Award noms. Reba McEntire, who earned her 51st nomination this year, previously held the record.

Combs’ six nominations—he's nominated twice for Song of the Year—include his first ever nod for Entertainer of the Year.

Dan + Shay, producer Jay Joyce and Carly Pearce have four noms each, and first-timer Justin Bieber, Ashley McBryde and Keith Urban are up for trophies in three categories.
