Fresh talent continues to hit new peaks at streaming charts with breakthrough singles for a handful of rising acts.
24kGoldn's "Mood" f/iann dior (Records/Columbia) has emerged as a legit hit over the last two weeks. It's now top 5 at Spotify U.S., Apple Music U.S. and Spotify Global.
Speaking of Columbia, they currently occupy four spots in Spotify's Global Top 10 with "Mood," BTS' "Dynamite" and Jawsh 685 x Jason Derulo's "Savage Love" rounding out the Top 5 along with "Watermelon Sugar" holding strong at #7.
Conan Gray continues to reach new peaks with "Heather" (Republic). It's climbed to #12 on Spotify U.S. and #15 on Global. Elton John recently praised Gray as one of the few bright spots among emerging artists. He told BBC Radio 6 in an interview, "Conan’s from America and he’s the only person in the American Spotify Top 50 to actually write the song without anybody else."
ICY/Artistry/Warner's Saweetie reached Spotify's Top 25 in the U.S. for the first time on Wednesday with "Tap In." The viral TikTok hit continues to reach new peaks domestically and worldwide as it enters Top 10 at Rhythmic radio.
MTV Push artist Tate McRae has been steadily climbing the charts with her single "you broke me first" (RCA). The track entered Spotify's Global Top 50 for the first time this week. She's been confirmed as a performer for the VMAs pre-show on Sunday.
