Taylor Swift’s Folklore (EMI) drops down to #2 on albums while Sea Girls’s are new at #3 with Open Up Your Head (Polydor). Even in Exile (Montyray) from Manic Street Preachers’ frontman James Dean Bradfield ends the week at #6, followed by Brighton folk-punk outfit Levellers’ Peace (On The Fiddle) at #8.
Burna Boy’s fifth studio album, Twice as Tall (Atlantic), is new at #11, followed by Kate Rusby’s Hand Me Down (Pure Records) at #12.
On the U.K.’s Official Singles Chart, “Head & Heart” by Corry f/MNEK (Atlantic) maintains the top spot with 68,000 sales this week, including 8.2m streams. The track now claims the longest consecutive run at #1 of 2020—The Weeknd’s “Blinding Lights” (Island) still leads overall with eight total weeks at the top.
Drake f/Lil Durk’s “Laugh Now Cry Later” (Island) has the week’s highest new entry at #4.
Cardi B and Megan Thee Stallion climb to #2 with “WAP” (Atlantic), “Mood Swings” by the late Pop Smoke f/Lil Tjay (Republic) rises two to a new peak of #6, and Paul Woolford & Diplo f/Kareen Lomax’s “Looking For Me” (Ministry of Sound) is up 15 places to #14.
Miley Cyrus debuts at #15 with “Midnight Sky” (Sony) and Jason Derulo’s “Take You Dancing” (Atlantic) rises 15 spots to #19.
