"DYNAMITE" EXPLODES

BTS' new English-language single "Dynamite" (Big Hit/Columbia) has exploded (as expected) globally. The new song already hit #1 at iTunes in 100 different countries; it became the fastest song ever to hit that milestone.

As the video for "Dynamite" approaches the 12 hour mark since its release, it's already racked up 54m views on YouTube, pacing to break the record for views within 24 hours again. It now owns the record for the fastest video to reach 10m views—it hit that mark after 21 minutes following its release.

The K-Pop gods announced that on Monday 8/24 new versions of "Dynamite" would be released, an EDM and acoustic mix of the track. BTS have a chat lined up with Apple Music's Zane Lowe Friday morning and have planned the "Dynamite" television premiere with a performance on the MTV VMAs next Sunday, 8/30.

The new song was produced by David Stewart and Jessica Agombar (Jonas Brothers, Hailee Steinfeld), along with vocal production by Jenna Andrews. Watch "Dynamite" below.
