UPDATE: Miley Cyrus has just been added to the lineup for the 2020 MTV VMAs. Ariana Grande announced on Tuesday that she'll be joining Lady Gaga on the VMAs for a performance of their hit collab, "Rain on Me."
Lady Gaga just announced she will grace the 2020 MTV VMAs stage for the first time in seven years. In a video posted on her socials, the Interscope superstar revealed the VMAs will be her first live performance from Chromatica.
Earlier this week, The Weeknd was added to the bill that now includes performances from Doja Cat, BTS, Maluma and CNCO.
While Barclays Center was initially announced as the venue for the 2020 VMAs, MTV announced that it had changed plans to allow the ceremony to take place in various outdoor settings for best safety practices.
The show takes place Sunday, 8/30 on MTV networks.
