Drake teased fans late Wednesday night with a clip of what looks to be a music video. The OVO/Republic superstar only said "TMRW Midnight," as the world awaits his sixth studio album.
Back in May, when he dropped his mixtape Dark Lane Demo Tapes, Drake promised his follow-up to Scorpion would arrive in Summer 2020. He and OVO affiliates have spent the last month posting clips from the studio to let fans know he's been hard at work to deliver the album.
Scorpion, which bowed in the summer of 2018 with 732k, has done 6.3m+ ATD. Dark Lane did 223k in its debut week and is now at 816k.
Whether his latest tease is for a lead single or full album remains to be seen; some online sources have predicted an album will arrive at the end of August, though insiders cast doubt on this prognostication. NME reported a possible Bruno Mars collaboration in the works. Will this be his first lead single from a full-length since "God's Plan?" Will he drop the entire project with no lead single? Stay tuned.
