THE WEEKND'S TIKTOK TAKEOVER

Watch The Weeknd's TikTok concert experience—the first interactive XR broadcast ever on the platform, below.

Presented by Wave and XO/Republic, the set included a surprise appearance from Doja Cat during the peformance of their remix of "In Your Eyes" and a snippet of a brand new song from the superstar.

Over 200k live viewers watched concurrently throughout the concert. The Weeknd led fans through a hallucinatory XR dream world, while fans interacted with comments to influence the visual story of the experience. TikTok and The Weeknd partnered to raise funds for the Equal Justice Initiative with the concert.

The concert was rebroadcast throughout the weekend through different territories' TikTok accounts, including Malaysia, Japan, Africa and Russia.
