DOES A NEW DEAL FIT MERCK TO A T?
Rumor has it that, on the heels of the recently announced deal with Rodney Jerkins, Merck Mercuriadis' Hipgnosis Songs will shortly announce a deal for the catalog of rapper Pusha T.
Hailed as the "Best Rapper Alive" by Complex, "King Push" earned a Rap Album of the Year Grammy nomination in 2019 for his Kanye-produced album Daytona (G.O.O.D./Def Jam), and a Rap Song nod six years earlier for "Mercy." He's managed by Steven Victor and repped for legal by Jess Rosen, neither of whom is beefing with Drake.
What are the particulars of this rumored deal? What else does Merck have up his sleeve? We'll keep pushing for details; stay tuned.
