1D RETURNS TO CHARTS BEHIND 10-YEAR ANNI
Behind the celebration of the iconic group's 10-year anniversary, One Direction has returned to music charts. 12 songs from 1D have re-entered the Top 100 on Spotify's Global chart.
Directioners' excitement for the milestone day was enhanced by Sony's special 10 Years of 1D website, which created a digital timeline over the last 10 years celebrating the group's catalog. Fans were able to dive into the nostalgia and create a personalized mixtape linking directly to Apple Music and Spotify.
"What Makes You Beautiful" was the top performing track on the anniversary date, climbing up to #29 with 2m global streams. "Story of My Life" went to #45. The group also took over YouTube with a full schedule of new 4K videos and streams of old concert performances.
