UPDATE: Just ahead of the arrival of his new album, Logic hosted his first Twitch livestream late Thursday night. The rapper became the first musician to sign an exclusive streaming deal with the platform earlier this week. His pre-album live stream amassed 105k live viewers and was a #1 trend on Twitter just as No Pressure dropped. Listen to the new album here.
Visionary/Def Jam's Logic has released his final album (according to his socials) album, No Pressure. The LP was executive-produced by No I.D.; longtime Logic collaborator/producer 6IX was involved in the album's production.
Logic also announced in a tweet that he'll be retiring from music after releasing this project. Contrary to that notion, it was revealed on Monday that the rapper signed an exclusive streaming (video game) deal with Twitch, rumored to be worth seven figures. He's already set up streaming sessions to promote and play part of the new album ahead of its release this week.
No Pressure follows 2019's Confessions of a Dangerous Mind, which debuted at #1 on the HITS Top 50. In 2019, Logic also released the novel, Supermarket, which made him the first hip-hop MC to author a #1 fiction novel on the New York TImes Bestseller fiction list.
Officially announcing my retirement with the release of “No Pressure” executive produced by No I.D. July 24th...
