iHEART MUSIC FEST GOES VIRTUAL

This year’s iHeartRadio Music Festival will be a virtual event featuring performances recorded in Los Angeles and Nashville. Kane Brown, BTS, Migos, Miley Cyrus and Thomas Rhett are among the performers.

Celebrating its 10th anniversary, the two-day mega-concert will be streamed on The CW App and CWTV.com, and broadcast on iHeartMedia stations nationwide 9/18 & 19 at 9pm ET/6pm PT. The CW Network’s broadcast will be over two nights, 9/27 and 9/28, 8-10pm.

Other performers include Coldplay, Keith Urban, Migos and Usher; Ryan Seacrest is the host.

The special will also include backstage moments with artists sharing stories about how the COVID-19 pandemic has impacted their lives and their families. Fans will have the opportunity to introduce artists and participate in virtual meet and greets and those watching live will have the opportunity to appear in a special Capital One Fan Video Wall.

“We worked closely with the artist community to create a safe way for them to step back on stage and perform for millions of their fans on the radio and television,” said John Sykes, President of Entertainment Enterprises for iHeartMedia. “It’s our commitment to help the artists whose music we play here at iHeart stay connected to their fans.”
