NATIVE INSTRUMENTS’ COMMUNITY DRIVE

Sia, production duo Take A Daytrip and Just Blaze are among 14 musicians contributing exclusive audio stems, samples and production kits for a donation-based charity sound pack. Featuring over 200 samples, 67 loops, 35 kits and 58 presets, the sound pack is donated through Native InstrumentsCommunity Drive and is available today (7/14).

Launched as a collaboration with the artist community, Community Drive is raising funds while offering free resources for musicians in need from the ongoing COVID-19 crisis. Also participating in Community Drive are Richard Devine, Miquela, DJ Dahi, BT, Philomene Tsongui, Junkie XL, Georgia Anne Muldrow, Kaitlyn Aurelia Smith, Peaches, Laurel Halo and Kimbra.

As part of the campaign, Native Instruments has also donated $114k to be distributed globally across seven charity partners: MusiCares Covid-19 Relief Fund, Musicians Without Borders, Keychange, Black Trans Femmes in the Arts, KUUMBA In Motion, In Place Of War and Heart N Soul.

“We’re beyond excited to present this incredible collection of sounds, created by a talented and generous group of artists from across the musical spectrum,” says Native Instruments’ Global Marketing Director Constantin Koehncke. “We’ve all seen how hard the music community has been hit by COVID-19. But we’ve also seen how the community can come together to support each other when it’s most needed.”

Take A Daytrip’s No Idle Crew adds, “Music is how we heal and we hope these sounds help direct funds to aid those affected by COVID-19.”
