BIKE RIDES FOR BLACK LIVES

In support of the Black Lives Matter movement, Bike Rides for Black Lives have organized a 14-mile bike ride from Hollywood to Santa Monica. Co-founded by four young black creative, Najee Tyler, Lanny Smith, Lamont Tory Stapleton and Carver Green, the non-profit aims to advance social justice, rebuilt and revitalize the black community.

Taking place on Sunday 7/12 at 2pm, co-founders will be joined by the likes of Terrell Owens, Machine Gun Kelly, Michael B Jordan, Terrance J, Al Harrington, Steelo Brim, Karrueche Tran, Lori Harvey and more at the starting point of Viola HQ, located at 6422 Selma Ave, and bike through L.A. until reaching the Santa Monica Pier.

All donations made to the non-profit will provide bikes, bike education and essential health education to underserved populations.

The first ride organized in June brought in a racially diverse group of over 700 riders including creatives, artists, athletes, celebrities and more. Partners for Bike Riders for Black Lives include Viola, Vuger Guyz, The Hoop Bus and Chef C Smhokin Pot.
