Katy Perry has officially revealed the cover art and title of her forthcoming fifth studio album, Smile. Arriving via Capitol on 8/14, Perry teased the new album cover with online circus games and challenged fans to help find her smile as they popped virtual balloons to reveal the artwork and title.
The announcement arrives ahead of the album’s title track, which drops tonight (7/9). "Smile" follows a string of single releases this year including “Never Worn White” and “Daisies.” The cut was co-written and produced by Pulse's Josh Abraham and Oligee.
“I wrote the title track from the album when I was coming through one of the darkest periods of my life and had lost my smile. This whole album is my journey towards the light - with stories of resilience, hope and love,” says Perry in an Instagram post.
Fans can now pre-order Smile here.
