New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo has given the all-clear for August’s MTV Video Music Awards to be the first major awards show held in a physical venue since the coronavirus pandemic began.
The VMAs will be held 8/30 at Barclays Center in Brooklyn with either limited capacity or no audience. MTV will be staging performances at landmarks around New York City as well. How many performances will be live is yet to be determined.
