Spotify has launched its first-ever Spotify Singles x Pride campaign with three new cover tracks from emerging LGBTQ+ artists Orville Peck, Rina Sawayama and Joesef.
As a part of the company’s global Pride 2020: Unlike Any Other playlist, which includes Amplify: Pride music & podcast hub, House of ___ Ballroom playlists and the My LGBTQ+ Soundtrack with social media share cards, the special Spotify Singles edition features home-recorded covers, a first for the program’s 500 original recordings.
Included in the Pride Spotify Single's campaign is Peck's cover of Bronskski Beat’s “Smalltown Boy,” Sawayama's rendition of Lady Gaga’s “Dance In The Dark” and Joesef's interpretation of Sister Sledge’s “Thinking of You.” Accompanying artwork for each track features self-shot and intimate at-home photos incorporated with a new Spotify Singles visual design.
All tracks are available for streaming now. You can also check out the entire collection of Spotify Singles here.
