APPLE MUSIC'S HISTORY LESSONS

Ebro Darden, Apple Music’s Global Editorial Head of Hip-Hop and R&B, sits down with Brittany Howard, Gary Clark Jr. and H.E.R for discussions about the legacies of black creators in blues, soul, rock & roll and how that music gains new power in moments like the one we're in as part of Apple Music’s celebration of Black Music Month.

Besides Darden’s At Home With Apple Music: A Black Music Month Celebration, activist Brittany Packnett Cunningham hosts a special episode of Billie Eilish’s me & dad radio on Beats 1; top tier Apple Music playlists will spotlight covers featuring black artists; and black artists from around the world, including Niegeria’s Falz and South Africa’s Amanda Black, will take over playlists. There’s also a new playlist titled Freedom.
