UMG has chosen Juneteenth as the official launch date of the website for its Task Force for Meaningful Change , a sweeping initiative triggered by Sir Lucian Grainge’s call for “real and constructive change.” The TFMC was announced on 6/5 by co-chairs Jeff Harleston and Ethiopia Habtemariam.
We’re told the site is still a work in progress, but it’s already loaded with useful content. You’ll find links to playlists including Verve’s Soul of a Nation: Art in the Age of Black Power and Island’s Music of Black Power, as well as videos and photos like this one of Harleston with Sen. Kamala Harris and Kevin Ross. Explore the site here.
