DEF JAM CREATES ITS OWN TASK FORCE

Def Jam has created a task force committed to fostering a community that values, promotes and demands respect, freedom, equal opportunity and justice for black lives.⁠ ⁠ The goal of Def Jam Forward is social, economic and educational equality for every black person, starting with the label’s artists, staff and colleagues. The move follows the creation of Universal Music Group’s Task Force for Meaningful Change.
