LADY A DROPS 'ANTEBELLUM'

The Grammy winning country trio formerly known as Lady Antebellum have announced they will now go by Lady A.

The BMLG stars took to socials to explain their decision to fans and how regretful they are of the original name's association with "the period of history before the Civil War, which includes slavery."

Many fans and music colleagues had referred to the band by their nickname, Lady A, as they rose to prominence in the last decade. Read Lady A's full statement below.
