DIMICK WALKING ON CLOUDS IN NEW ROLE

Cumulus Media has upped John Dimick to the newly created post of SVP/Programming Operations. He was previously from VP of Programming Operations. In this expanded role, Dimick will oversee the company’s team of VPs of Programming Operations and its 11 format specialists. He’ll continue to report to EVP Content and Audience Brian Philips and will remain in the company’s Atlanta HQ.

“In my first year,” said Philips in making the announcement, “John has proven himself to be an indispensable partner in the leadership of this programming group. He is gifted with the intuition, pragmatism and patience to see us to greatness. This move validates the hard-earned trust and confidence John enjoys within our entire company.”

Before joining Cumulus in May 2016, Dimick served as SVP/Programming for Lincoln Financial Media from 2007-15. He’s a 30-year programming veteran.
